Submission does not guarantee approval or implementation.
This process allows organisations to submit proposals for consideration where there may be potential benefit to Staffordshire’s highway network, residents, or wider transport objectives.
Proposals may include, but are not limited to:
- New materials, products, or construction techniques
- Digital tools, software, or data-driven solutions
- Safety interventions or traffic management approaches
- Environmental or sustainability-focused innovations
- Asset management or maintenance efficiencies
- Trials or pilot schemes suitable for local highways
All proposals should be suitable for use on, or in support of, local highway infrastructure.
All submissions are logged and reviewed by the Highways Specification Group, which meets regularly to assess proposals.
